In June 2022 the Triumph Board took a decision to restructure its Die-Cutting department, through an investment in two state-of-the-art Bobst machines. The decision was made on the back of a strong growth trajectory, as well as increased market demand for more competitively priced packaging driven through faster run speeds, quicker make-ready times and reduction in waste.

“After reviewing various options available in the market, we took a decision to partner with the Bobst Group for this specific investment, given their demonstrated industry-leading Die-Cutting technology”
The first of the two Die cutters was commissioned in January 2023, followed closely by the second in March 2023. The investment has proven, already, to be incredibly successful. In-line stripping and blanking capability allows significantly more flexibility through the plant at far higher levels of precision and quality. We are excited to continue to delight our existing and new customers through these new investments, as well as future investments that we are planning, which will help us to realise our goal of becoming South Africa’s folding carton supplier of choice.
